Homemade Apple Cider



Ingredients:

· 10 Large Apples

· 1 Litter of Water

· 1 Vanilla Bean Stem

· 3 Cinnamon Sticks

· 6 Whole Cloves

· 1 tbsp Brown Sugar

· 1 tbsp Maple Syrup




Directions:

· Quarter the Apples – make sure to remove the cores and stems

· Add apples and water into a pot and boil for 5 minutes

· Then add all the remaining ingredients

· Cover pot and let boil on high for 30 minutes

· Then remove lid and turn on low and let simmer for 2 hours

· Remove from fire and let it cool completely

· Remove all the bits and pieces and then blend into a fine puree

· Strain the puree through a cheesecloth and add that into the remaining liquid in the pot

· Store in the fridge

· Drink Cold or Warmed up

· Should last a good 2 weeks
